We view our role in the financial reporting process as an opportunity to provide constructive solutions for maximizing your company’s profitability and efficiency. We provide financial reporting on two levels of assurance:
- Reviews consist primarily of inquiries of management and the application of analytical procedures to the financial data obtained from the entity. The purpose of a review is to obtain a basis for expressing limited assurance that no material modifications are necessary in order for the financial statements to be in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles. The limited procedures applied in a review make the report somewhat more reliable than a compilation, but substantially less than an audit.
- Compilations involve preparing financial statements from information provided by management on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. We do not express an opinion or any other form of assurance on the resulting financial statements. A compilation may be sufficient for many private companies.
